01. Background
The client Look & Line is preparing to launch a new women's apparel and accessories e-commerce store that will sell modern, on-trend styles targeted at young women. They aim to provide confidence-boosting pieces that fit well and complement their customer's shape.

The client has requested a logo design that is neat and modern to align with the stylish clothes collections. As a female-focused fashion brand, they want soft colors that also remain to fit well with every season's apparel. The logo should seamlessly integrate the name “Look & Line” along with their tagline statement “Line Up Your Style”

Problem
The current logo is just black text and does not reflect the feminine essence of the brand or align with the stylish aesthetics of their apparel offerings. A new logo is needed to capture the brand identity through visual design and help differentiate Look & Line.

Goals
- Modern yet feminine style vibe
- Maintain a clean and simple aesthetic for versatility
- Utilize soft colors and design elements to seem inviting

Logo Design Process
The logo design process involved creating two logo options to suit different branding needs—one horizontal version for banners and one stacked version for thumbnails. The banner logo incorporates the brand's slogan "Line Up Your Style" for maximum impact. The thumbnail logo adopts a more compact orientation allowing it to be flexible for constrained social media spaces and small profile pictures.

Reflective Statement
Creating logos online clothing store allowed me to apply my design skills to help a real business. Communicating with them as clients gave valuable insight into discussing needs, presenting concepts, and incorporating feedback. I felt proud seeing the finished logos launched on their website, establishing the Look & Line visual identity. Moving forward, I want to expand my skills in typography, color psychology, and cultural considerations to craft logos that connect globally.
